Just a quicky today to remind you about the Women’s Running 10K Race Series we are supporting which starts next month with its first event in Cardiff.
We have a small team signed up from The Clubhouse our online running club, and will have a Too Fat to Run pre race meet up hosted by Joey Jones where you can meet other women from our community and get rid of any pre race jitters.
Here are all the details you need to know
Cardiff
Where: Bute Park, North Rd, Cardiff CF10 3DX*
When: Sunday 29th May at 10am.*
Why: The Women’s Running 10K is making it’s return to Cardiff’s Bute Park for the third consecutive year and it is set to be even bigger and better than last year! The same friendly atmosphere will return, with pacers to help you round and every runner will receive a medal and goody bag worth over £40!
The Course
A hidden gem within Cardiff’s city centre, Bute Park is a gorgeous parkland featuring lovely scenery and a nationally renowned array of unique beautiful trees.
A flat, two-lap course, it is ideal for runners of all abilities and a fantastic entry-level route for those running their first 10K. Alternatively there is also a 5K option in association with This Girl Can, which is perfect beginners or anyone looking to get a new PB over the classic distance.
