In 77 days 14 nervous but excited ladies from the Too Fat to Run community will be heading to the airport about to embark on adventure….as they join me and my incredible retreat staff for 7 days on the Greek island of Rhodes for a week of fitness, food and fun, and you could be joining us too.
I am not going to lie, in 2016 I was a little nervous about running my first ever health and happiness retreat, would anyone come? would the week run smoothly? would participants get the results they wanted? but I needn’t have worried. I have been running workshops since I was 14…OK they might have been drama related at first (I have a background working in the arts) but over time I realised those facilitation skills are completely transferable.
The women in 2016 had an absolute blast…as did the staff team, and the results from that week are still ongoing, as I see the ladies go from strength to strength with their health and fitness, and more generally as I see them achieving the life goals they set that week too.
So what actually takes place on one of our retreats?
Well, I can’t tell you everything but let’s just say ever day is a day of exploration and adventure….oh and lots of laughter, and we all know that laughter is good for the soul right?
Through the week you can expect everything from hill repeats, to sunrise yoga sessions, hikes to buy ice cream, to poolside Zumba. Yes, there is lots of physical activity scheduled into the week, but it is all optional and adaptable for all levels of fitness, and you will be surprised at how much you will want to take part in…like seriously.
And aside from the exercise there are daily mindset and hypnotherapy sessions, plus lots of opportunity for downtime, sunbathing and trips to the beach.

We have ladies of all shapes and size coming, from all walks of life…at all stages of fitness. They are all a bit nervous about travelling alone, meeting new people, having to take part in exercise with a bunch of strangers…but facing these fears are part of our process. I love running, but that is not why I host these retreats.
I love working with and empowering women more. I love helping women to see they are enough, but also much more than they think they are, capable of doing all sorts of things, if only they got out of their own way.
Most of what I do with too Fat to Run takes place via the internet, making friendships and connections via a computer screen, and OK it still helps and supports women all over the world to live healthier happier lives and in many cases transforms lives, but the stuff that happens on the retreat is out of this world, and I simply feel privileged to be able to make it happen.

We have just 6 places left on the retreat in either a single or a double room. If you are a member of The Clubhouse which is our online running club you get a 10% discount, so if you are thinking of coming and are not yet one of our tribe…you might want to consider it for just £59 for the year.
The absolute deadline for securing your spot is March 3rd, and you can do this with just a £200 deposit here. The remaining balance must be paid by bank transfer by Monday 13th March.

£949 for single occupancy of a twin room
£799 for sharing a twin room
We can provide assistance with booking flights to Rhodes, and will provide you with all the details regarding what to bring. We can also match you up with another lady if you would like a twin room but have no body to come with.
